TEKU TEKU AROUND THE WORLD
From June 2010 I am planning to travel the world.
During my travel I want to make an Eco movie for children made by children
With Eco-chan (our logo) playing a big role in the movie. Showing children they can make a difference!
Still very much in the experimental stage open for suggestions !

Have been playing around a bit with Ecochan to see what I can make him do:

Hmmm Do charts reveal your true self or are they deceiving.... Am I an alcoholic or not ?
For 30 days I tried to spend not more than 1000 yen a day....... not so easy it turns out but made it, and lost 2 kg. Yeahhhhhh!

For those interested:
This 14350 yen beer money includes 1 wedding party, 2 days outdoor music event, 1 BBQ, 4 times to the pub.

30 days (90 meals) I prepared 77 meals myself, average 86.5 yen a meal, didn't eat any meat or fish and made big portions and froze them. 6 meals free provided by school/friends. 7 meals ate out.

Well its an interesting challenge to take! You definitely will think twice before buying something from a convenie or vending machine. Only wish that beer would be cheaper ;-)

Monday September 21st Its getting hot in here!

UPDATED EVENT DETAILS:
11;30 Gather in Chuo Koen( Park next to Acros)
12:00 Move to the open space in front of Iwataya Z side
12:18 Suddenly people come from all sides and start painting me ( Mies) red.The idea is to surprise people.
12:25 Someone carrying a portable radio will come over and will start playing "Its getting hot in here" I will take of a vest and under it I will wear a T-shirt saying IT's GETTING HOT.
We will hold up a sign saying STOP GLOBAL WARMING.
We will hold up our telephones, from the radio the sound of ringing telephones will come. We will hold up a sign CLIMATE WAKE UP CALL

12:30 Prime minister Hatoyama

will arrive by taxi holding up his telephone too like he is talking to us on the phone. We will point at the sign; STOP GLOBAL WARMING
12:35.People will get the chance to be in the picture with Hatoyama, holding up a sign with their request.
We will handout papers with an email for people to contact Hatoyama themselves.

After we will have a picnic in Acros park.

WHY ?
12/18/2009 world leaders will come together in Copenhagen
to make decisions on a new climate treaty.
Monday September 21st, 12:18 pm we will join a
GLOBAL CLIMATE WAKE UP CALL
All over the world, original activities called Flashmobs* will be organized.
(* “flashmobs” - fun, peaceful demonstrations in which participants assemble suddenly in a public place,blending in with the crowd, perform an unusual action simultaneously for a few minutes, and then quickly disperse)

These flashmobs, will draw attention from the media, world leaders and local people on the climate crisis.
Our activity will be important and special as we are the only one joining in Japan.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Have your face being painted red.
- Take pictures / video.
- Advertise this event, mail it to everyone you know, the more people that join the better!
- Get the media involved. We need newspapers / TV / Radio to know!
- Do you have a portable radio that can play on big volume? We want to play " Its getting hot in here"

12:18.........突然私たちグループメンバーの顔にペイントを始めます。

................私たちはお互いに知らない人のふりをして、誰彼かまわずペイントしているように、見せないといけません。大切なのは、周囲の人を驚かせることです。

12:30.........私たちは、グループで集まり、メッセージを掲げます。この活動についての意味を周囲の人にはっきりと示す為です。

（その後、中央公園でピクニックを行いますので、ぜひ参加してください。）

なぜ？

2009年12月18日、世界の指導者達がコペンハーゲンに集まり、新たな気候問題（環境問題）に関する条約について決議を行います。
9月21日（月）,12 時18分に私達は“ＧＬＯＢＡＬＣＬＩＭＡＴＥＷＡＫE ＵＰＣＡＬＬ”に参加します。

世界中でFlashmobs*と呼ばれる独自の活動が実施されます。
（* ”flashmobs”とは・・・楽しく平和的なデモンストレーションで、
公共の場所に突然集まり、人ごみの中にこっそりまぎれて。突然みんなで一斉に通常考えられないパフォーマンスを数分間行う事です。そして、その後すぐまた人ごみの中に消えていきます。）

この flashmobsによってマスコミや世界の指導者、そして一般の人々の関心を気候問題（環境問題）へ集めることができるでしょう。

私達がこれを福岡で行う事はとても重要で特別です。なぜなら、日本で唯一私達グループがこのイベントを行うからです。

何をしたらいいの？

イベントに参加して、あなたの顔を赤くペイントしましょう。.
写真やビデオを撮りましょう。
このイベントについて、あなたが知っている人みんなにメールを送ってください。たくさんの人が参加してくれると、より素晴らしいイベントになります！
マスコミを連れてきましょう。私たちは新聞社やテレビ、ラジオ局の人達にこのイベントについて知ってもらう必要があります！

だれか、大きな音量で聞くことのできる携帯ラジオを持っていませんか？数分間のイベントの間、私達は "Its getting hot in here"を流したいです。

FUN BEFORE FALL !!

Autumn is coming soon but we want to enjoy summer
more!. Join us for a BBQ, Yoga, Aroma massage, Frisbee
and create some sand-art at Shingu beach.

- This party is potluck style so bring your own drinks
and some food to share and put on the BBQ
- If you want to join the free massage lesson, don't
forget to bring some aroma oil!
- Please bring a garbage bag as we don't wan to leave
any trash behind on the beach.
- Also from sunset we are gonna start
candle-light-night, so please bring a candle too.

Directions:
How to get there from Tenjin:
1) Take the Kaizuka Nishitetsu Line from Tenjin
2) Change at Kaizuka
3) Take the train to the last station (Nishitetsu Shingu Station)
4) From the station, turn left, and left again to cross the railway tracks. You will see a dirt road walk leading to the beach. Walk along it for about 10 minutes.
